News - New Beginnings at Ashtanga Yoga Bath
last updated 14th August 2014
Since 2001 Ashtanga Yoga and Ayurveda has been run by Bev Sowerby and Simon Chandler. The time is now right for
us to move on and we have decided to relocate to Crackington Haven in North Cornwall.
From September 2014, Henry Palmer and Sheridan Forbes will become the new custodians of Ashtanga Yoga Bath. They now have a new website with everything you need to know about practicing Ashtanga Yoga in Bath ashtangayogabath.co.uk. In Swindon, Bindoo Rattan and Sylvia Delfino will run the classes when Simon is in Cornwall.
During the summer holidays, there will be a period of transition when Henry, Sheridan and Simon will hold classes together and Bindoo will run the Wednesday evening class in Swindon. Starting in the Autumn, Simon will to come up to Bath/Swindon around every 3 weeks, so he can continue to support Ashtanga Yoga Bath and Swindon.
Until Henry and Sheridan get their new website up and running all class times etc will still be on this website. In the meantime you can contact :-
Henry on email@example.com or
Sheridan on firstname.lastname@example.org
Classes and courses in Swindon will be continue to be listed on this site.
Henry and Sheridan are very enthusiastic about taking over and we feel very confident that they will continue to support you in your Yoga. We are really pleased they will ensure Bath continues to have a safe and dedicated Ashtanga Yoga programme committed to teaching in the traditional way. Since making our decision we have been working closely with them both in and out of class. Some of you will already have seen them assisting and adjusting with us.
Once settled in Crackington Haven, we are planning to run some weekend/week Ashtanga retreats close to our new home on the North Cornwall coast and Bev will again offer Ayurvedic massages.
Please can you be patient with us through this period of change. We are all working very hard to make it as smooth as possible for you!
Simon and Bev
