Learn to practice Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga on these 6-week courses. Teaching progresses very slowly so that everyone can experience this wonderful form of yoga. Suitable for complete beginners and practicing students wishing to improve their technique.
Evening and Day-time courses are available.
Course Outline
- Basics of the practice including breath, bandhas, dristi and vinyasa
- The Sun Salutations and Fundamental Standing Poses
- An introduction to the poses of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series
- Basic Back bending and the Finishing Sequence
After 6 introductory classes you will be able to join any of our other classes.
Regular Beginners Courses are held on Monday evenings from 6.00-7.30pm at St John's Church Hall, Grove Street, Bath and on Friday mornings from 10.00-11.30am at the United Reformed Church Halls, Grove Street, Bath.
Monday evening Beginner's Course start-dates are 6th September 2010 and 1st November 2010.
Friday morning Beginner's Course start-dates are 10th September 2010 and 5th November 2010.
£63 for 6 classes.
Alternatively Beginner's Courses can be arranged to suit you. If you can find one or more people to join you on a Beginner's Course then we will run a course at the Yoga Room in Limpley Stoke with dates and times to suit you, provided they do not conflict with our existing teaching schedule! Please call or email to make arrangements.
Even if you don't know of another person to join you on a Beginner's Course please register your interest now and we will arrange a course when enough people are interested.
