Here are some guidelines on which class will be suitable for you.
Beginners Courses
The practise is introduced over 4 special classes. We begin with the breath technique and the body locks. The Sun Salutations are then learnt, followed by the standing, sitting and inverted postures. After 4 introductory classes you will be able to join the taught led class.
Led Classes
In led classes we instruct you in part of the Primary series of Ashtanga Yoga. You will be taught the correct breath and movement for each posture. Usually after around 10 led classes you will be ready to do Self Practice Mysore-style classes
Self Practice Mysore-style Classes
These classes are suitable for those who are familiar with the correct breath and movement system of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series. In these classes you work through the Primary Series at your own pace. As teachers we observe, correct and adjust you ensuring that you are safe and allowing you to progress further with your practice.
